Walter Beebe
Walter Beebe is a principal founder of the The Open Center. In addition to leading The Open Center for 35 years, he has five children and eight grandchildren, practiced corporate and nonprofit law for 40 years and serves on multiple Board of Directors. During his undergraduate years at Harvard University, Paul Tillich was one of his teachers and set him on a path of searching for deeper understanding and actualization, both within and outside of traditional modes, that continues to this day.
Jeffrey Gitterman
Jeffrey Gitterman is a co-founding partner of Gitterman Wealth Management, and a thought leader in the field of Sustainable, Impact and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) Investing. He is the author of Beyond Success: Redefining the Meaning of Prosperity and an Associate Producer of the feature documentary film, Planetary. Jeffrey also serves on the Board of Directors for the Child Health Institute of New Jersey at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical and dedicates much of his free time to raising funds and awareness for the autism community.
Ross Guttler
Ross Guttler is Chief Executive Officer of The Open Center, the country’s longest-running urban center for personal growth and spiritual practice. Throughout his time with The Open Center, Guttler has led the evolution of a four decade-old New York City institution into a global changemaker with an engaged audience from more than 180 countries. After a career in wellness real estate, exploring how the built environment makes us healthier, happier, kinder and more creative, Ross found his calling at The Open Center, where wisdom traditions and spiritual practices, balanced with modern day medical and behavioral science, art and sound, are used to help us live more harmoniously with ourselves, each other and the earth. Prior to joining The Open Center, Guttler was Chief Operating Officer for Global Treehouse, a Tokyo-based startup combining meditation, creativity, collaboration and problem solving for large corporate clients.
