ABOUT THIS PROGRAM
As a whole, the Reiki System of Natural Healing uses gentle, non-invasive touch to accelerate the body’s natural healing processes, support mental and emotional healing, and create an overall sense of profound well-being. Brought to the West some 90 years ago, Reiki has become one of the most in-demand healing modalities in the United States and around the world, used in hospitals, hospices, spas and wellness centers. This course uniquely blends the classical Japanese tradition and the Western Reiki style, with experiential classes focused on demonstrations and supervised hands-on practice.

Distance Reiki or energy healing works according to the laws of Quantum mechanics and it is how we can understand how we are all connected, as we are all made of energy and part of a larger whole. Understanding how this law of energy works during a distance Reiki session allows the practitioner to link up to the energy field of the recipient no matter where the recipient is located.
With online Reiki classes, you also get the benefit of seeing how long-distance Reiki works and will get to feel and experience how Reiki transcends space and time and the transfer of Reiki attunements. The practice of long-distance Reiki has been well-practiced in our pre-Covid 19 world, with effective results, but has become much more needed now.
Note: This program will be offered online. Sessions of all our online programs will be recorded and shared with registrants after each is completed for 90 days.
REIKI 1: THE ENTRANCE

(5 Sessions) Mondays and Wednesdays, November 3 – 17, 2021, 7:00 – 9:00 pm ET
Reiki 1 is considered the entrance to the practice of Reiki. Throughout this series, you will learn practical ways of incorporating and integrating the Reiki system of energy healing into your life and offering it to yourself, family and friends:
- daily self-care treatment
- four initiating Attunements (Reiju)
- Reiki precepts, history and spiritual healing principles
- guided imagery meditations
- and basic chair protocol
This practice can lead you on a path to self-empowerment and become more spiritually centered.
While Reiki 1 is about Self-Care, a must for all Reiki practitioners; Reiki 2 is about creating a healthy boundary for personal care and care for others. It is our intent that the combined Reiki 1 and Reiki 2 courses will provide a balanced and transforming protocol in one’s spiritual centering practice.
Note: No prerequisite is required for Reiki 1. Upon completion, you will receive a Certificate of Completion from the Open Center. Any practicum and last level requirements for certification will be held independently of the Open Center by the instructor. A $20 materials fee for Reiki 1 is payable to the instructor at the first session.
REIKI 2: DEEPER WITHIN

(5 Sessions) Mondays and Wednesdays, December 1 – 15, 2021, 7:00 – 9:00 pm ET
This second course will deepen and expand your Reiki journey as you learn how to focus and transmit Reiki’s spiritual healing through space and time. You’ll learn:
- 3 Reiki symbols and their meanings and purposes
- 3 mantras and 3 initiating Attunements (Reiju)
- chanting and spiritual centering practices; distance transmission
- and the basic table protocol when done in person and when practiced online
Note: Completion of Reiki 1 is required for Reiki 2. Upon completion, you will receive a Certificate of Completion from the Open Center. Any practicum and last level requirements for certification will be held independently of the Open Center by the instructor. A $20 materials fee for Reiki 2 is payable to the instructor at the first session.
There is an advantage combo price if you enroll in both Reiki 1 and Reiki 2. Payment plan is available.
