Self-care is essential for all empathic people. When you mindfully and lovingly practice it each day, your sensitivities will flourish. In this talk, Dr. Orloff will address self-care practices, perspectives and meditations to support empaths and sensitive people in being compassionate and empowered without shouldering the suffering of others or trying to “fix” them. All people deserve the dignity of their own paths. You’ll learn how you can be loving without becoming codependent or a martyr.
Dr. Orloff will lead you through balancing meditations from her new book Thriving as an Empath: 365 Days of Self-Care for Sensitive People to replenish yourself and discuss self-protection techniques to keep you centered and strong in the world.
Recommended reading material: Thriving as an Empath: 365 Days of Self-Care for Sensitive People – Dr. Orloff will go through selections from the book as topics for this evening workshop.
