COLOR Full Storytelling Series

ABOUT THIS PROGRAM

A Free Evening Event
Thursday, February 25, 2021, 7:00 – 8:30 pm EST

“There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside of you.”
– Maya Angelou

Since the beginning of time, stories have been used as a way to hand down knowledge, preserve culture and traditions and foster connections between people.

There is a transformative power of storytelling that celebrates the diversity–and similarities–of being human. Telling stories builds connections between people and creates a more understanding and compassionate view of the human experience. In this way, the stories we tell have the potential to create change within our families, our communities and our world.

Everyone has a story to tell. Join us for our first virtual storytelling event, COLOR Full Stories, which will celebrate the transformative power of storytelling.

Hosted by Baron Carr, this evening event will feature six thought-provoking and powerful BIPoC (Black, Indigenous and People of Color) Storytellers to share their true personal stories, experiences and memories of being Black and Brown in America.

This event is free to attend. A suggested donation of $15 will support future free community events, such as this, focused on diversity and inclusivity and access for all.
