This class is part of the Certificate of Excellence in Cranial Unwinding.

This intensive hands-on training offers an in-depth exploration of the Craniosacral method’s essence: its work with the body’s subtle energy system (especially as manifested in the chakras, meridians, and the aura), and its use of the ancient language of the 5 Elements (Ether, Air, Fire, Water, Earth) to illuminate the body’s energetic flows.

The too often taken-for-granted craniosacral system (CSS) consists of the membranes and fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord. It is at the heart of the body’s physiological and energetic organization and responsiveness, in a sense “tuning” all our nervous, connective tissue, organ, tissue, and fluid systems. By working with that fluid one can modulate the energetic frequency of the body and achieve truly deep, core healing. Working with CSS is a highly effective way to nourish our key energy centers (chakras) and open and balance our energy channels (meridians).

In this four-day experience, we will gain a deep understanding of the chakras and elements and discover how to process energy most productively in our own bodies and in our larger lives. We will also learn specific bodywork techniques for balancing each element; protocols for each chakric element and when and how to apply them; basic exercises to find and work with key energetic points; how to integrate Craniosacral techniques with Energy Medicine principles; and how to be able to perceive at a deep level what our clients are experiencing.
