Anxiety, the Missing Stage of Grief

WITH CLAIRE BIDWELL SMITH

ABOUT THIS PROGRAM

An Evening Workshop
Tuesday, November 16, 2021, 7:00 – 9:00 pm ET

When we lose someone we love, we are thrust into a world where we feel more vulnerable than ever before. Suddenly we must face the fact that there are absolutely no guarantees in life. Everything that once seemed sturdy is now fragile, particularly the people we love. Feelings of intense anxiety following a loss is a more common reaction than most people realize, yet it can be incredibly difficult to grapple with.

In this webinar, we will explore the connection between grief and anxiety and provide practical tools and strategies for healing anxiety caused by loss.

Note: This program will be offered online. Sessions of all our online programs will be recorded and shared with registrants after each is completed for 90 days.

“I cannot imagine a better grief therapist than Claire Bidwell Smith. She has the ability to wrap her deep psychology background and understanding of frameworks for dealing with grief in an intimate and soft discussion that makes the client feel incredibly well supported. Perhaps as a result of her own losses, she becomes a partner in going through the process of grief with the person experiencing deep loss, and not just a medical professional. As a result, she has significantly advanced my ability to brave the storms of grief and even to see some of the beauty that it yields as well. I am forever indebted.”
– Jaime, Los Angeles
