Monique Lang is a psychotherapist, teacher, writer and healer. For over 35 years she has worked with and helped individuals, groups and communities. Trained in Internal Family Systems, Past Life Regression, EMDR, Gestalt, Psychoanalysis, Comprehensive Resource Model, Reiki, mindfulness practices and shamanic techniques, Monique brings a depth of presence and gentleness to her work with people in her counseling practice, her teaching, her writing and as leader of workshops and her Journeys to Ecuador to visit Indigenous Healers. She has served on the executive committee of the Trauma Studies Program at the Institute for Contemporary psychotherapy and is a board member of Aldea Counseling Services. She has been on the faculties of Columbia University School of Social Work, the State University of New York at Stony Brook’s Department of Child Welfare and Mercy College Department of Psychology.
Monique has presented in a variety of settings including the Omega Institute for Holistic Studies, Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health, Internal Family Systems yearly conference, the Mid-Atlantic Mini conference and Good Shepherds to mention a few.
