with Mary Attwood, M.A., Louise Livingstone, PhD and Angela Voss, PhD
ABOUT THIS PROGRAM
A Weekly Series
Saturdays, May 8 – May 22, 2021, 10:00 – 11:30 am ET
In this three-week course, the co-founders of the Centre for Myth, Cosmology and the Sacred in England will each explore their own ‘magic window’ into the world of the mysterious, the ineffable, the impossible, the extraordinary and the numinous.
The Centre’s work offers resistance to the increasing rejection, disconnection, and dumbing-down of the arts and the humanities in mainstream education. And it offers fresh practices drawn from Western sacred and artistic traditions through which we can reclaim an integral vision of the human being, nature, cosmos and whatever lies beyond.
Week 1: The Magic Window of the Heart – Saturday, May 8
Week 2: The Magic Window of the Gnostic Researcher – Saturday, May 15
Week 3: The Magic Window of Renaissance Art – Saturday, May 22
